for Health
Company Profile
Shaz for Health believes Pharmaceuticals used for the health of the external body are absorbed through the skin and into the bloodstream, increasing toxicity within the body and contributing to disease.
We are committed to formulating, producing and distributing simple but effective all Natural Remedies. We work with Mother Nature to create alternatives, which help to alleviate the toxic overload. We also seek to educate and prove the effectiveness of Nature and all that it can provide to our lives.
We will grow and prosper with integrity and honesty, remembering that through financial success there is responsibility to the individuals we touch and the environment we are a part of.
A Bit About Shaz
Shaz has a background in business; she worked and managed in restaurants and bars for the past 20 years. In 1999 she enrolled in a Master Herbalist Course at Wild Rose College in Calgary, graduating in 2002. Shaz also attained certification in Reflexology and Iridology in 2001. As a healer it was a natural extension of her work to create Natural Remedies that she felt happy and comfortable presenting to her clients and the public.

How It Began:
In 2001 Shaz was asked by a client (Mary), because of an outbreak of Dengue Fever on St.John, to provide an Insect Repellant that did not contain the toxic chemical DEET. Shaz formulated her All Natural Insect Repellant and presented it to Mary, who tested it and found it to be effective. Subsequently Mary ordered 6 more bottles for her family and friends.
for Health was on its way and within 2 years had increased production of the Insect Repellant to supply 7 retail shops on St. John, plus adding 5 more Remedies to her line.
In 2003 the outbreak of West Nile Virus in North America created a new market for Shaz and her All Natural Remedies. Shaz began producing the Remedies selling them at local Ontario Farmer's Markets and local retailers.
2004 proved to be a good year for Shaz for Health Remedy’s, the interest continued to grow and Shaz did her first interview, published in a local magazine whose distribution included all of the British Virgin Islands, the United States Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico. Sales increased both in the Caribbean as well as the mainland US and Shaz decided to return to Canada to begin larger production and distribution.
